Job overview

The Head of Digital Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to drive online growth and engagement for the organization. This role involves leading a team of digital marketers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the organization’s digital marketing efforts align with its overall business objectives. The Head of Digital Marketing should have a strong understanding of digital marketing channels, technologies, and trends.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies that align with the organization’s business objectives and target audience
  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
  • Developing and managing the digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
  • Leading and managing a team of digital marketing professionals, providing guidance and coaching to ensure high-quality work
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members
  • Ensuring team members have the necessary tools, resources, and training to perform their roles effectively
  • Developing and implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and ranking on search engines
  • Conducting keyword research and optimizing website content, meta tags, and headings for optimal search engine readability
  • Ensuring proper implementation of technical SEO elements, such as sitemaps, schema markup, and site speed optimization
  • Developing and managing PPC campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
  • Conducting keyword research and ad targeting to optimize campaign performance and ROI
  • Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance, making necessary adjustments to improve results
  • Developing and implementing social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Managing social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn, to drive user engagement and traffic
  • Developing and implementing email marketing campaigns with the content team to communicate with partners and drive engagement
  • Segmenting email lists and creating targeted campaigns to improve email open rates and click-through rates
  • Monitoring email campaign performance and analyzing results to optimize future campaigns
  • Developing and implementing content marketing strategies to attract and engage target audiences
  • Supporting the creative and communications team to deliver high-quality content, such as blog posts, whitepapers, and infographics, to drive traffic and engagement
  • Ensuring content is optimized for search engines and social media platforms
  • Monitoring and analyzing digital marketing performance using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMRush and other relevant tools
  • Creating regular weekly and monthly reports on key performance metrics, such as website traffic, conversion rates, and ROI
  • Using data to identify trends and insights, making necessary adjustments to improve campaign performance
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned by Management

 

Qualifications & skills

  • Full English proficiency is required
  • Additional spoken languages are a plus
  • Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g., MS Office
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn new skills as needed

 

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in digital marketing, with a focus on SEO, PPC, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, technologies, and trends
  • Experience managing and leading a team of digital marketing professionals
